With a focus on South Africa and Southern Africa and covering topics such as the region’s history, violence on the continent, mining and migrant labour, as well as family, friendship and choices.The Bishop Q comics series represents characters often faced with tough choices, the decisions they make and the consequences thereof.

Book one of the Bishop Q series tells the story of a man who has been avoiding and running from his past. It soon catches up to him and a tragedy from before seems deemed to repeat itself. The series is distinguished in the comic book landscape by its unique use of African lingo and art that is not trying to imitate anything out there, but is representative of the African continent.
